Spokesman: Putin, Saudi prince discuss oil cooperation

HANGZHOU, China, Sep 5 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed cooperation in the oil sector with Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, Saudi Arabian prince, on the sidelines of a G20 summit in China, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on September 4.

“Cooperation in the oil sector was undoubtedly discussed but the emphasis was made on the sphere of finances, high technologies, including the World Trade Organization (WTO). This is a mood expressed by the representative of the monarchy which was in general supported by the Russian side,” Peskov said, answering to a question on whether and an oil production freeze was discussed between the officials.
